Vintage Time Teacher - educational toy clock (analog & digital for sale in East Hampton, Connecticut

$20

This was my papa's throughout his childhood, so I 'd position its purchase date as at some time in the 1950s. It still works, but it's obviously made use of. I've cleaned it off as much as possible, but the clear back panel (which can be removed) still reveals a great deal of scuff marks along with a few fractures in the plastic.
The front panel over the 'digital' display used as a test for kids learning to read an analog clock still moves easily, and both the hour and minute hands still move with their initial clicking-gear noise. As the hands are moved, the time in the 'digital' panel modifications to match, and vice versa. The digital time can be altered by rotating the gears extending out of the left and ideal sides (the environment-friendly and black equipments).
The rear panel can be gotten rid of (by eliminating the 4 corner, Philips screws) to get at the equipments, and the black, green, and yellow ones can be removed. There is a opening in the top-middle of the clear back panel developed to hang the Time Teacher on a nail or other ideal item on a wall.
Measures 67/8 W x 9" L x 11/4" D and weighs about 10 ounces.
